Although a mere 10 years old, the Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts, established with the approval of the Jiangsu Province People's Government, began as the first photography university to be founded in China. Ever since its inception, the school has been hard at work in pursuit of distinction. Our chief objective is to nurture creativity and practical talent in the realm of visual arts. Today, the Institute encompasses our School of Photography, School of Design, School of Media, School of Arts and Sciences, Golf Academy, International School and six other faculties, all of which operate with a high standard of professionalism in their teaching brief whether in the fields of photography, animation, design, media strategy, etc.
